Senior Partner of Franklin Associates and Chairman, International Public Relations Partners

Terry has spent his entire career in journalism and PR. Trained as a journalist, he has worked as a Senior Information Officer and Editor for the United States Information Agency in London and Washington. During that time he edited three publications - Science Horizons, American Economic Report and Insight USA. As a desk officer he covered, among other things, the Apollo space programme and the Vietnam War.

After leaving the US Government, Terry went on to become the European Managing Director of Hill and Knowlton, then the biggest PR firm in the world; Executive Vice President of Carl Byoir and Associates, the third biggest PR firm in the world; and then Burson-Marsteller, where he headed up their corporate practice. In 1988, he established Franklin Associates which provides corporate and strategic advice on communications worldwide. During his career, he has represented many of the Fortune 500 and Times Top 1000 companies.

In 2000, Terry was seconded to Publicis and the European Central Bank in Frankfurt, where he was the creative copy-writer for the launch of the Euro.

Management Adviser and Company Secretary

Andrew has held senior positions in government, investment banking and consultancy acting as an executive director and management adviser on organisation and human resource matters. He graduated in economic history and has post-graduate qualifications in management and management accounting. He is a fellow of the Institute of Business Consulting and the Chartered Management Institute and is a Certified Management Consultant.

Andrew has wide experience of consulting organisations, the health sector, financial services, leisure and property sectors. He has consulted with blue chip organisations across the UK and Europe. Andrew has written extensively on management, chaired influential management research studies and presented on radio and TV and to government committees.

Senior Consultant and Head of Investor Relations

Alex Nekrassov graduated from University College London and joined IPRP in mid-2007.

Alex counsels senior executive management of US and European-based companies and institutions, guiding them strategically to short-term and long-term investment and corporate communication objectives. He consults corporations on major capital-raising ventures and projects, involving commodity and energy trading, with a focus on UK and Russia. Alex is part of an extensive communications network and is fluent in English and Russian.

Alex is also the coordinator for the IPRP European network and is a skilled writer and analyst with journalistic experience. He works directly with Terry Franklin and Robert L. Dilenschneider on high-level IR and PR accounts in the UK and US and has worked with government officials and representatives at senior level.

Senior Consultant

Robin is a seasoned journalist with years of experience on national and regional newspapers, and is the IPRP chief media correspondent. Robin’s skills earned him the title of “Northern Journalist of the Year”. He is the former President of the Chartered Institute of Journalists.

As business editor of the Yorkshire Post, Robin covered many of the major stories unfolding throughout the seventies and eighties and is regarded as one of the foremost journalists in Britain today.

Senior Consultant (Balkan Region)

Aleksander Stojakovic provides general corporate advisory services and a wide range of strategic consulting for emerging markets. Specialist areas include Central and Eastern Europe, CIS States and Latin America.

Aleksander is part of an extensive communications network and provides clients with in-depth knowledge, regional expertise and experience which allows for a span of initiation of ideas, insights and solutions as well as detailed implementation.

Aleksander specialises in telecommunications consulting, real estate development and global trading including the import and export of a wide range of products and services internationally.

Account and Office Manager

Samantha Robins manages the IPRP London office and is responsible for overseeing and supporting various European PR accounts.

Samantha is an experienced recruitment consultant with an extensive, professional background in headhunting at various London-based firms. She plays a key role in client liaison and account coordination as well overseeing the financial administration and human resources functions of the IPRP London office.

Ms Robins has been a senior level professional administrator for 5 years and works closely with IPRP Chairman, Terry Franklin and Senior Consultant, Alex Nekrassov.

Our Representative in the US

Robert L. Dilenschneider formed The Dilenschneider Group in October 1991.

Prior to forming his own firm, Robert served as president and chief executive officer of Hill and Knowlton, Inc. from 1986 to 1991.

He has counselled major corporations, professional groups, trade associations and educational institutions, and has assisted clients in dealings with regulatory agencies, labour unions, consumer groups and minorities, among others.

Robert has authored eight books — including the best-selling Power and Influence, A Briefing for Leaders, On Power, The Critical 14 Years of Your Professional Life, Moses: C.E.O — and The Critical 2nd Phase of your Professional Life. Most recently, he published 50 Plus!— Critical Career Decisions for the Rest of Your Life.

Robert started in public relations in 1967 in New York, shortly after receiving an M.A. in journalism from Ohio State University, and a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame.
